I think Rosie and some of her offspring have the very old Scotch Shep "look".
Lady Rose (Rosie) is a really cute little girl. She is fun and full of energy. She is a lot like her grandma 4J Acres Heather. She loves to fetch anything and always brings it back. She does have to play keep away with the other dogs and its quit fun to watch. She is one smart cookie and learns very fast. She quickly remembers names and were to go find her toys. She likes helping to keep the cows off the back fence too. The best thing about her is she very biddable and comes running when I call her. She LOVES to be with people. She likes hanging out with my Dad if he is out working on something. And when Randall starts up the Zero Turn, she usually gets up in it with him, but so far jumps off when he starts it up. She loves hanging out with me and is my constant shadow. If she could, she would be in my lap all the time. We do plan to breed her in the future. She is out of a special breeding where both sides of the family go back into the Sojourner line to Ole Shep. Summer 2017
Lady Rose is an awesome dog! After raising several puppies, she reminds us so much of the "old" litters out of Gabby X Lassie. She is very sweet with a gentle heart. She stays by our side all the time; a constant companion. She is one that communicates with her eyes and will look steadily into ours. When we are working on something, she is right there engaged with us, looking at every move we make. When my husband airs up a tire she is checking out his hands and watching every move. If I'm out pulling weeds, she is right there with me watching me pull each one. She wants to be part of everything we do. Lady Rose aims to please and has been super easy to train. October 2017
Lady Rose is proving to be one of the smartest dogs we have ever had. Even though we don't spend much time working with her, she just seems to catch on to things really fast. She tends to remember words too. She loves to fetch her toys and Frisbee and will bring it back and place it in our hands. She learned very quickly to jump over our stand and hoop. And she loves doing it. August 2018
LadyRose (Rosie) is a real sweetheart. I think she would make a great therapy dog because she is more concerned about her people. She sticks close by and wants to be near in all that we do. In taking our grandbaby out for a stroll/walk she stays by walking beside us, no leash required. When we stop, she stops. She is very tenderhearted and always wanting a pet or hug. She is very loyal. It was a very hard decision, but we decided that the 2021 litter would be Rosie's last. She is in a new home in Washington. Jan 2022
