4J ACRES SCOTCH COLLIES

This page is in honor of Steve and Sandra Niedrauer. If it had not been for their diligent work in the 90's, the Old Time Farm Collies /OTSC that we have today might not exist.  It was their breeding efforts that brought us so many wonderful dogs: Heiland Thistle Diego, 4JAcres Gabby, Sojourner Jacob Junior and Sojourner Pepper.  In the mid-1990's they met Richard McDuffie, the owner of Ole Shep. They bought one of Ole Shep's grandsons, Sojourner Jacob, to help them on their dairy goat farm. Joining the effort to bring back the old style of collie by using Jacob as a foundation stud. Their puppies were placed throughout the United States, mostly on farms. Those of us who were blessed to get one of their pups soon realized we had something very special.  I will be forever grateful to Sandra Niedrauer, who through the years has been a wonderful advisor, mentor and friend.
